Title: I'm interested in getting some lessons

Hello all
I have purchased a Hobbico Nexstar Select. It has a .46 engine that hasnt seen a drop of fuel yet. I have all i need to fly but the know how. I'm interested in getting some lessons on flying. Hopefully with a buddy box. What do i need to do ?

You have done the right thing, now just wait and the flying Dutchman will soon enlighten you on the details of when and where to bring the new bird, and you will be on your way to spending more money than you can possibly imagine.

If you live in our area, then come and stop by our field in Irvington, AL.
Our club has two official instructors. I'm one of them. We use buddy boxes.
I'm usually at the field on Saturday and Sunday afternoons around 1:00 PM.
Just be sure you have your batteries charged up the night before for about 15 hours.
Bring 15% nitro fuel.
If you don't live here, then find a club near you and get to know them.
Check with your local hobby store about clubs in your area.

I live in Saraland. I'm hoping to get started this weekend. Would that be a good time to catch you ? I'm an rc addict but only cars before now.This is my first plane.

I'm the other Instructor at the field,
I will be there Sunday for sure, maybe
saturday too, not sure yet.

I think will let HIM instruct this coming weekend, because he sort of slacked up on me last weekend.
David is a good instructor, if you can get him... :lol:

I took Michael up 3 times on the buddy box and I assisted frank a few times. :pirate: ;)

All you have to do is RETIRE :thumbup: Then you will have more time to spend at the field :D and even get to come out on a few weekdays :banana:

that sounds good Don, but If I retire I will not have time to fly because I will
be to busy running from the bill collectors :twocents: :D
