that is the best way :) but the T-Shirt would have been ok, if, we didn't have anything else. Thay don't scan it, thay just look at it to see what it is, and then do it up on there computer :cloud9:

I'm so glad someone finally got this Tee-shirt thing going, aren't you, Tony??? :lol:

But, guys:
- Not every club member visits this Forum...
- Not every member has a computer...

Although it's fine to get these advanced orders, this should really be put up in front of the membership at the next club meeting. Then the membership will approve and vote on the design and all that stuff. (Not my idea — it's the way it's done. We have been through this once before...)

Then it will be put in the newsletter, the ONLY approved method to notify the membership! That is done by none other than MOI, by paper newsletter (for those without computers) and by email message (for those believing they are computer-literate).
And that STILL does not mean all members will get the message. After all, "you can bring a horse to water, but you can't make him drink", and all that crap. (But we don't care about that...)

So this can drag on for another month or two (even though Don is a real gung-ho kind of guy!).
Heck, this may go on until the year 2006!... And I was SO hoping to get a club shirt by Christmas of 2005... :rolleyes:

In the meantime, Don, put me down for ONE Large T-shirt and ONE Large Golf-Shirt (no pockets).
I wanted to go for Mediums, but my diet just isn't working... :rolleyes:

Gung- ho, Me?????????????? :o Well I am just trying to get things going on this, lots of folks been yappen for shirts :yes: For my part, I don't wear T's or Golf shirts so it don't matter to me :no: I am going to post shirt info at the field, and the folks that have computers, can pass the word along to the folks that don't have computers, and the folks that come to the field can see the posted info, and the folks that come to the meeting next month can vote on a color and design.

SO, we all need to get the word out that there will be a BIG VOTE at the next meeting

We already know we want shirts, do we still have to vote that we want shirts, and didn't we already do that???? Or did we vote to just see about shirts?????? Hmmmmm I am starting to get confused here :wacko: :wacko: Well, :dance: I will just keep taking advance orders just in case we can get the horse to the water, and if it takes till the end of next year to get him to drink :D At least I will have a good idea on the number of shirts to order :banana:

I have heard several members ask about club baseball style caps.

Does anyone know if this type cap with club logo on it is available from the AMA supplier.

The point I was trying to make, Don, is that because this is a club thing, ALL members in the club should have access to the same information that the shirt committee is offering here in the Forum.

Besides us dozen or so Forum regulars, the other 90 club members should be notified also.

Frits, don't you remember at last meeting, Henry and I settled on pink shirts with sort of a metalic magenta trim around collar and a bright yellow raceing stripe on each side from arm pit down to shirt tail. Also the main logo will be 263 mm in diameter, centered on shirt back and 73 mm below shoulder blade cross point. If they don't come that way, me and Henry are not haveing one, we want pretty caps with braid and scrambled eggs galore. :roflmao: :hysterical:

Caps can be worn inside or out, hot or cold, rain or shine.
Many advantages to caps:
Keeps sun off bald heads.
If you have hair, don't have to comb it.
You can wear it turned around so folks will think that you are comeing when you are going.
Can hang your B.O.S.S. ID tag on it.
Pull it down low and tuck your ears in when flying chopper.
Pull the bill down low over your eyes so that you will not have to look people in eye when they ask "What happened, Why crash?".
When driveing down road, can lay it on seat upside down and put your stuff in it so that your stuff will not go slideing off seat when makeing sharp turn. All the race car drivers do it.

Best to take a little more time and try to make sure everyone in the club gets the info :) But like I said, I will keep taking orders in advance of what ever the members decide on as far as design, color, etc, because it looks to me like the members that wan't shirts, will get them what ever the design or color is :)
