Title: Ultraflight Furious questions

kovedawg - August 17, 2005 06:16 AM (GMT)
I decided to order a Furious and Im having a heck of a time trying to figure out what to put in it. I was hoping to get a 2100 lipo in it so I could have 2 of the same batteries (Iv got one for my T-rex too). But Im not sure if thats going to be too heavy. I want to find a nice balance of power to flight endurance, so need a motor to suit it. Would appreciate any info you guys have :)

David Lanzo and Aaron McLeod each have an UltraFlight Furious.

David can be reached through this forum, not sure about Aaron, but I have his email address.

Both Aaron and David can do some nice 3D stuff with that little plane!

hey lil Don

I have a 370 inrunner motor and a 1500 ma lipo 3 cell battery on mine.
I have about 30 min flight time on it. but I would recommend a 370 or 400
outrunner ( direct drive motor).

this is a great plane, you will enjoy flying it...

Thanks for your reply David. The 1500 setup and a 400 was kinda what I was steering toward anyhow, but I just bought a T-rex heli with a TP2100 that seems to be no good. Im getting 7.68v on a 3C right out of the pack so it needs to get sent back :banghead: (I ordered it from Heliproz). Trouble is, if I go down to hobbytown and buy another one Im gonna end up with two 2100 batteries. Do you think the Furious can handle the weight of that battery or should I see if TP can just credit me for the battery and buy a 1500?

I'm not sure about the weight difference between the 1500 and the 2100
but I know that you will have plenty of power..

you can try the 2100 on the plane and if it don't work out you will have an extra battery for your t- rex... :D
