If two radio's are connected to each other by a cable, do both radio's need to be on the same frequency or does the trainer redio over ride the trainees radio? <_<

They do not have to be on the same channel. The trainer radio don't even need a crystal in it.

The trainer radios we use at the field:

• Have no crystal in them
• Have no battery pack in them
• Some have no antenna in them
• Are always left in the off position.

If you use a functional transmitter for a trainer radio, you MUST leave it in the off position.
DO NOT turn it on!
