Title: Jet Smoke Systems
Description: Ducted Fans

I have seen Jon's turbine powered Kangarro display an awesome smoke trail. Whike reviewing some old pics, the attached interested me in installing a smoke system on my Coasty jet. Engine is OS .91 with pipe. Does anyone know whether or not DF smoke is possible/practible?

I would think it could be done just as easy as a turbine jet. You should be able to do it like you had your Cap 232 done if you have the room.
:D

You can do it but you will be adding a lot of weight to a somewhat thrust marginal airframe. Jon

Thanks Jon. Good point. Better see how it flys first. :o

How about just attaching a smoke bomb of some kind to the jet and lite the fuse just before take off or remote ignite it some way in the air.

That could work! :D Nah. Never mind I wouldn't want to burn the plane down. Hehe :D

But some long white combat streamers on it  :D

How 'bout a 16 oz bottle full of white flour, piped to retracts air and a good size hose from the bottle to spray it out the back. Maybe top of rudder. I am serious and this shouldn't weigh much if I use that new "lite flour". I dream of a smoking coasty. without adding a lot of weight which is Jon's concern. :banghead: :banghead:

Hmmmmm!!!!!! I just thought of something""" :D You don't need on board air..
Run a pipe to the outside, and use ram air

Wow a jet that makes biscuits!!
Justin P. - June 4, 2004 01:01 PM (GMT)
Add a little buttermilk to the fuel and make buttermilk bisquits.
Justin

Or better yet just add some rum. That should give the jet more power and make the bisquits more tasty.
