Title: LI-PO Chargers vs Ni-XX
Description: Discussion on Which chargers I can use!

Can I use a AccuCycle Plus to charge my new 9.6V 650mAh Ni-MH battery?
I got the battery with my e-Flight Blade helicopter. It comes with a charger that is a 300mAh charger. The AccuCycle can charge at 500mAh or 1000mAh. It has a selector for 1,4 or 5 cells. The discharge options are 250 mAh or 750 mAh.
Thanks in advance!

AccuCycle Plus will work just fine. you can set almost any setting needed with that one.

What does the 1,4 or 5 Cell setting do?

Hey AmishBoy,
The accucycle will not work!! It will not charge an 8 cell pack.
8 cells is 9.6 volt @ 1.2 volt per cell.
The accucylce will only charge up to a 5 cell pack; which is only 6 volt @ 1.2 volt per cell.
The charger that comes with it only takes 2 hours.
It will take you that long with your accucycle as you would have to peak charge it twice to get full battery power out of it.

You come to the September Heli flyin??

Thanks Justin,
I'm planning on the Fun Fly. I finally got my Blade to fly. It does not seem to handle as well as yours did. .. . I was wondering if I should get a LI PO battery for the Blade and one of your fancy battery chargers?
What do you think?

Hey AmishBoy,
One thing that I did after the first time I flew mine was move the two weights on the flybar that are next to the paddles closer to the head.
That gave it little bit more control.
