An amazing thing as to how false rumors get started.
Just little dent on tail boom and broke plastic link and maybe bent spindel shaft and sort of broke tail boom support and maybe a little tweeked main shaft.
Not really a crash because all the damage was done on the ground. :P

Oh...Forgot to mention...Just how/why it all happened.
Justin and Jake were standing behind me, dareing me to do an auto in the almost dark.
Ok, I was coming down in the auto and Justin passed loud gas :yickes: , Jake was scrambleing for upwind side, Justin was laughing, and I was holding my breath.
During all this, I lost my constipation and sight of just where ground level was and came in slideing to left some.
The skid stoppers did their job and chopper tipped over.
Soo, you see?...Was not my fault at all. <_<

WOW! Alvin sorry to hear about the tip over. We need to meet with the safety officer about a no passing gas when flying rule  Auto's in the dark??? You sure they were not setting you up? Sounds like you will have it fixed in no time.

Hay Alvin,
I have a old gas mask I can let you have.
You never know, it may save you from another crash :)

I definately think that we need a 'passing gas' safety rule. I was standing downwind of Alvin in the pavillion the other day when he let one go. WOOOWEEEE!!!!!!! You should have seen us running!!!!! The pavillion was cleared in record time!!!!!!!! I about took my leg off hitting the picnic table trying to get out of the way  If I'd have been on the flight line it'd have lost everything.... there's no way that I could have recovered from that one. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gee Fellows, thanks for all the support.
Maybe we get one of those "Ionic Breeze" filter things to go under the ceiling fans. :fullmoon:

Alvin/Rob,
does your pit crew need to meet with you this week
to get the chopper back in the air?
It sounds like Justin is responsible for "shooting you down". :fullmoon:
Maybe he should pay for the repairs. :D

Yes,
I was there and saw it all. The rumor is true, but I warned them that it was going to happen. Not to mention it was 8:30pm and almost pitch black.
I...I...I...I'LL FIX IT ALVIN!!! :blueheli:

I was also there.
You should have seen it. From what I remember, Alvin saved all our lives. Here's what happened.....
We heard a rumbling coming from somewhere, not sure if it was coming from some underground hazard or from Justin's stomach from the two hot dogs he just consumed. Seems we were right in both assumptions. Just as Justin released that awful gas, a whole opened up in the ground in front of all of us spewing some other gas. There must have been some kind of chemical reaction from the mixing of the two gases. Its all kind of fuzzy now but I remember Alvin screaming...I'LL SAVE YOU. About that time with full negative pitch, Alvin autoed his copter down and fanned the gases away. Who knows what could have happened if the two gases would have completely mixed. Alvin sacrificed his copter to save us. All I have to say is.
Thanks Alvin for Saving our Lives.
