Take a look at his radio. How do you fly with something like that?

I expect to see some radios like that showing up in our impound area soon. :P
Bound to give you a steady grip on the stick.
Arg!! :pirate:
no that is not for me...i do just fine with what i have. They are enough to fly much less adding something like that. :hysterical:
Thats just crazy. Single stick setup?? Shesh.
I got a chance to meet and speak with him at MayDay last year. I asked him what the benefits were to fly the single stick set up.
He says, for anybody else, nothing, but when he first started flying, something like 20 years ago, the single stick was the most popular for heli use.
He grew used to it and thats what he sticks with.
He showed me how it works, and I believe that the rudder on that swivel pot on the cyclic side, is his secret to his speed.
By the way, the radio in the picture on his web site is the one he takes to competitions. His dailey radio looks like he dug it out of the trunk of his car. Complete with duck tape to help hold the case together! :D
I just saw Curtis Fly at Joe Nall!!!! Great exibition!! They showed the radio, it was hilarious, lol. If he's going to be anywhere close around it's definately worth the trip to see....
