Description: Where to buy cheapest

Am new to this board. I would like to buy either a Saito FT 100 twin or their FA 90 radial R3D. But no matter where I look on the Net and the retailers I check, the prices are all identical--$499 for the twin, $699 for the radial. Either the retailers all sleep with each other, or Saito engines are franchised. Can somebody point me to a discount house, or let me know if anyone has one used at fair market price? dicktracy

I checked several online retailers and sure enough, they were all the same prices for those two engines.

Strange, huh. <_<

Some manufactures have a minimum advertised price rule. To keep the value of the product from going to nothing (price wars) and make no money on the item. They set these rules and if you get caught they might pull your dealer license for that product. They do that all the time in the shooting industry.

Tower Hobby will give you a discount of $10.00 if you spend $100.00 or up to $40.00 if you spend $300.00.Also on some things thay will give you a gift certificate. I saved $65.00 on a $215.00 engine one time... But thay don't sell saito engines. Check out the O.S. engines.......
