Just ordered new Kokam packs for my F-18. 3 Cell 3200 MaH, weighs 10 oz. and has a 64 amp discharge rate. woohoo
COOL  Thay will be handy to have if you need to jump start your truck also
What do you think the flight time will be? :toontwo:
According to my cyphering, if that batt pac discarged at it's max rate, it would dump all it's juice in three minutes.
So, that would be the shortest flight time possible.
But, you would have to have a motor/load configured to handle that much draw.
I am confident that I am probably wrong.
Mr. Billy, help us out.
You are right Alvin. That's why if you need to draw that many amps you hook up packs in series. 2 packs would give you 6 min at max, 3 packs 9 min at max...ect. My f-18 can only draw 39 amps max. So I can probably get 5-6 min with this pack at max. I am running (2) 2100 Mah now, but I have to land to let things cool off every 5 min. With this pack I can do the same 5 min flight with less weight which = more performance. At least that is the theory.
