Some more information/hints for this mystery airplane:
Two word name - ***** ******
Two were built in the 1930s.
One crashed and killed pilot.
One was donated to a school and where abouts now, unknown.

Could you at least tell us how many people that death trap could hold. ;)
I think that I remember seeing a picture of that plane in an old old Popular Mechanics magazine or some similar publication.

I really don't know for sure about the number of crew/passengers.
Looks like it could hold two regular people or four dear friends.
