Alvin,
Mystery plane 11 is a Me-209V-1 specifically built to break the air speed
world record and held it until taken by the Bearcat in 1966. The nose of
this plane clearly says that is a derivative of the Me 109 with an inverted
DB601 engine in the nose.

Darn it, I could have got this one if I had got in here sooner.
My grand father raced against one of those in europe way back when.
He said that he lost. :what:

In order to give forum users a little warning to be on the look out for a new Mystery Aircraft Contest, in the future, I will make the new Mystery Aircraft topic without the picture in it at first.
Then twenty four hours later, the picture of the mystery aircraft will be inserted in topic.
Should give y'all plenty of time to be tuned in with coffee at hand and all comfortable, ready to give it a go.
I hope that this forum server will be able to handle the surge of traffic as everyone downloads picture at same time.
I hear that "Big Creek Lake" (municipal water source) water level drops by about two feet :o when Super Bowl half time starts.
Lets see...Say 100,000 flushes at one time...Say three gallons of water per flush/hands wash...That's 300,000 gallons of water at one time, plus any double flushers :toiletpaper: and any toilets that valve hangs and continues to run :fishing: and any Bidet use.
Could possibly max out at maybe half a million gallons Sucked out of "Big Creek Lake" in short order.
Must be a heck of a big intake pipe and pump.
