BVM wheels and brakes,
www.bvmjets.com Sport Wheels & Brakes-grass (2-5/8" mains, 2-1/4" nose) $192.00
Turbine
(kangaroo will fly with 18lbs thrust turbine and up, I’m using the jetcat p120, 27lbs of thrust) If you watch
www.rcuniverse.com you can pick up a suitable turbine at a reasonable price. Most turbines start using propane (except the bmt turbine which starts totally on Kero or Jet A) which can be purchased at some sporting outlet stores. The propane is called powermax which usually costs $3-5 per bottle. The turbines operate either on Jet A or K-1 Kerosine with a mix of turbine oil, Exxon 2380 or Aeroshell 500.
Jetcat P80
www.jetcatusa.com 18lbs thrust $3195
Jetcat P120 27lbs thrust $3695
Artesjet super eagle 120,
www.artestjetusa.com 30lbs thrust $3095
Radio
You need a radio capable of elevon mixing, where the elevators also act like ailerons, with a minimum of 5 channels (If you use retracts). The brakes can be mixed to down elevator with a mini hobby (
www.minihobby.com) brake controller $89
www.minihobby.com or by using the jetronics brake controller from
www.jetcatusa.com $85
Draganfly eyecam
