I'm just wondering if anyone out there has dealth with brushless motors for their eletric RC's before. If so, what do you guys think about them and what should I know about them.

I'm new with electric motors and no nothing about power range or how the number of windings effects the motor and what this means.

Any help would be great.

Brushless with li poly is the only way to go. It's definately more expensive but the power is great!!!! Look here for more info

On the Brushless Motor topic, saw an interesting article in one of the latest RCM magazines, I think. :unsure:

Showed how you could remove a motor from a busted CD ROM drive and make a mean little brushless motor unit for small RC electric airplane.

Not sure what the size/power of a CD ROM motor is, but article showed it flying one of the smallest foam Tiger Moth models best I remember.
