Title: Mystery Aircraft Six
Description: identify it. (We Have a Winner)

alvinonline - December 4, 2004 08:06 AM (GMT)
First person to post here with correct identification of this aircraft, wins the "boobie" prize. Up to twenty points added to their forum member post count and the win will be shown in their member rank/status till the next contest winner. Two wrong guesses by someone gets five points taken off their forum post count. JKing ;)

Looks like this aircraft got caught in a Fog Bank.
But, the fog will clear up some every day till aircraft is safely out or identified.
The further in the fog the aircraft is when identified, will result in more points for the winner.

Day One - 20 points if identified.

No one guessed right yet, but I look for Wayne or Davzo to get in here and identify aircraft even in the fog bank.

TidBit:
Emergency engine out night landing procedure.
Turn on landing lights.
If you don't like what you see.
Turn lights off.

No Posts have ever been deleted from this forum.
I looked around and found the posts with the links to Full Scale Airplane information and even Don's comment in it.

Missing post found in different thread from Mystery Aircraft one.

The full forum search function is promised to be back to 100% functionality when the forum software updates to IF 2.0.
That will be a big help for finding things.
They been promiseing since early last summer to do the update.
Will have some other improvements and features, but getting forum search back up will be the most usefull thing.

So far yall doing good seeing through the fog and making a stab at aircraft identification. :what:

No Problem. Forum Search will be handy whenever it works again.

Now, on to the poor airplane caught in fog.
It has emerged out of fog a little.
18 points now for correct identification.

Well...I'll be #^$*&^@#&*abagasted!!!!!!!!!
How Davzo saw through that thick fog good enough to ID the airplane, I'll never know. I figured this one would go on for another day or so. A well deserved 15 points.

We Have a Winner!!

It is indeed an "Avro Anson 1".

Congratulations Davzo, you have won the "boopie" prize user posted imagefor winning the "Mystery Aircraft Six" contest.

Davzo receives fifteen big points added to his forum post count total and his member rank/status will reflect his win till we have another new contest winner.

For those of us not enabled with X-Ray vision, here is picture of the Avro Anson 1.
