Sure do hope so, David.
I am ready to see it fly also.
If I can get down there and work on it some Friday afternoon, might be ready to fly late Saturday.
Maybe Sunday for sure.
If that Saito .70 will crank up and run right.
Don't want any engine flame out after take off.
That could be bad news. :crying:
David - November 16, 2004 05:09 PM (GMT)

Yea, We want to know if it flew today? :bigplane: Sorry to miss the barbecue yesterday, sure sounded good! My wife put on her ball and chain, would'nt let me out of her site, but after doing absolutely nothing she'll be glade to see me gone next Sunday!!!Tell me I'm not smart!!! I would have come out today but it started pouring down rain, so I had to make a decision......go play in the rain or stay at home and ignore my wife and WATCH NASCAR. Again, she'll be glade to see me go next Sunday!!! I think tomorrow after work she will make a b-line to the hobby store to buy me some fuel to make sure I go next Sunday.
Later,
Tony
P.S. I sure hope she does not read this.

hehehe, what's it worth for me not to tell.
Well....Tony & David...Yall sure missed a good day.
The rain never came South of I-10 and we had very good weather all afternoon.
We cooked and ate some more.
We had a TV set up and watched the race also.
Much flying going on and even a crash.
No, not Homer's new plane, but one of Don Koval's new ones ( I think was AT-6 Texan) flown by Justin. :(
We did indeed get Homer's "U Can Do 3D" all finished up and I got the first flight on it.
All went without a hitch because of the extra time spent on assembly and looking everything over real good.
A very nice flying airplane with no bad habits.
Homer flew it a couple of times and Jon worked it out some for a flight. :3DingPlane:
Too bad To sad yall did not show.
I even saved some food and ice cream for you as long as I could till we gave up and Jeff showed up and it got ate up.
Tony, I will come by your shop tomorrow and spend the day and bring you up to speed on all the happenings and play with yall's for sale Christmas Toy selection. :clown:
Later,
Alvin

Andy is going to help Homer out, through Hobbytown, with getting the problem/s taken care of with his Saito .70.
Get that engine running right and will be nice airplane for Homer to play with.
Got to yet finalize the cockpit detail (thinking of putting a mouse trap or hunk of cheese in with the current "Rude Rat" pilot) and glue on the canopy for good and that will be about it.

Yep" The Texan Crashed :plane_crash: But "NOT" "BECAUSE" Justin was flying it
It was going down no matter who had the box :o It took us a while to figure out what casued it to crash. But then Rick got to looking at it, and found the proublem,
Justin will be glad to hear this :D because he left befor the discovery. The Servo Tray Came Lose :o I didn,t install it, it was allready in the plane.(Defect in workmanship) Thay said to send it to them. I said, it don't fit in the box. Thay said, cut it up to make it fit. The wing didn't get much damage, I am going to keep it and tell them to charge me for it if that need to. It's allways good to have a spair wing.........Lesson Learned ;) Always check the servo tray if you did not install it..........
