Nice!!! Get the jets out!!!

alvinonline - March 11, 2009 07:56 PM (GMT)
Very nice.
Thanks Frits, for your diligent attention to and pursuit of getting this improvement repair accomplished.
And to the county for doing it.

The way I been landing my Escapade, I was sure to hit that cliff or fall victim to the crack monster sooner or later. Seems like I need more and more runway as I get older. :crying:

Flying Dutchman - March 11, 2009 08:42 PM (GMT)
Thanks!

Isn't it high time for you to get a Cub...

Flying Dutchman - March 11, 2009 09:11 PM (GMT)
Now we need to send a letter of thanks to the County, who once again did us a great job. It needs to be done soon.

And all I did was ask for their advice on how to seal those cracks... :D

We should be grateful for what the County has done ever since we got on the landfill, because I have talked to people from other clubs in similar situations who aren't so fortunate.

Some of us just don't know how lucky we are... <_<

:o They did a lot more thasn I thought they would.

I got poeple in my neighborhood living on dirt roads that have been on the countys pave list for more than 10 years + . :paci: They would have a fit if they new the county had paved a spot in a land fill.

We are very lucky. ( Maybe we should go to the casino??)

P.S. I do think a nice letter is in order.

BenHere - March 12, 2009 01:26 AM (GMT)
Great idea Fritz... can you get us a list of names.. (commissioners, engineers, etc.) ??? I think ALL OF US should send them a Thank You letter... They get enough Flack thrown at them about what they've done wrong... we should let them know we do appreciate it.

Right!
If you took away Avistar2's posts, along with my replies, what would we have left?

A forum like the one in a neighboring state where the administrator was begging for people to post something, anything...

A forum almost as dead as the one Alvin set up for Avistar2 in Arizona...

Anyone sent a letter yet? I can send one personally, just not sure who , where, when.
I'm assuming the club sent one?

jonkoppisch - March 18, 2009 01:39 AM (GMT)
I was wondering if someone could draw up a letter then have everyone in the club sign it?

The Crack Monsters seem to be resigned to the loss of their old home under the runway and are taking up flying themselves.

Cold you imagine what the crack monsters could do to a large scale B-29 with a wing span of 16 feet long or a B-17 with a wing span of 125 "? It may not be a very pretty sight! :yickes: :yickes:

:P the other one on my kitchen table  is my spitfire, gota fix remote clow driver. thanks mike ,it was hanging at the hobby shop across the bay. had a 91 fourstrock on it.i got a super tiger 75 that can go on it if i have a motor mount that will fit,or get one. ore option 2 is a saito 100. user posted image is this the best looking racecar driver ever or what, dannica patrick :smiley_wave:

Mike - March 26, 2009 04:46 PM (GMT)
If it came with a .91 four stroke in it, why change it out for another motor? I vote leave the .91 or put in the 1.00 if you must, but don't put the two stroke in it.

Crazy Clown - March 26, 2009 05:09 PM (GMT)
