Title: Replacing the tin
Mustangman - September 22, 2004 01:29 AM (GMT)
Allen Pippin had a good idea for installing the new tin........instead of overlapping one ridge..... overlap two.......to help stop some of the leaking when it rains!!
What do you guys think?
Also looking for volunteers to do the repair and we need to pick a date.
Not sure yet but I maybe working this weekend, I'll let you know when I find out!

Darned good idea. Why didn't I think of that. :P
Also some 1 by 4 boards needed where they got ripped off with tin on north end of north pit shelter.
Can help anytime. Need some light weight people for high altitude work.
I can do ground work and anywhere I can reach from the step ladder.
Very Good...Did not know that we would be able to enter property for repair work.
Maybe have it all fixed back for when flight operations start back.

We might can get you out of work if you want to be one of the high altitude workers.
Wonder what the weight limit is on those ready made roof trusses.
I read on Runryder chopper forum that a fellow's two RC flying sites in Florida had been closed because of same reason due to recent other hurricanes crisscrossing down in southern part of state.

Since the County is depriving us of using the field, why can't they drop us a load of metal roofing?

Let me know the date and time. I'll be there if possible. Not much of a carpenter and not much on altitude - due to the scotch..... BUT I DO KNOW A GOOD REAR END WHEN I SEE ONE!!!
