I was at the 2008 NATS this year participating in control line racing and visited the RC Combat guys. A lot of people are using Avengers for open B http://www.teamseaholm.com/index.asp and Phenceposts for the SSC class http://www.hattrickrc.com/. SSC stands for Slow Survivable Combat and uses .15 size engines with cost and rpm limits. SSC is the most popular event followed by open B (up to .30 size engines, no limits). Some video of me (blue vest) participating in control line racing at the 2008 Nats. This event is called F2C Team Race. The airplanes are small flying wings using 15 size (2.5 cc) diesel engines. This is part of a qualifying race. My team mate (pit man) and I went on to participate in the final and ended up in second place.
