Dewey Brown showed up with his new Cub...

Tony had to beg for special permission from Henry to fly with the North Enders. I heard that some of the North End crowd are still not sure about accepting Tony as one of their own, because Tony tends to fly his Cub in a "non-scale" manner. (I'm just passing on what I heard...)
There were at least six Cubs at the field.

Jon lost the right wheel and brake on landing his Rascal turbine jet.

Rob lost the right wheel off of his Super Hornet turbine jet when he landed it.

Dewey's Cub lost its right wheel in flight, but Dewey made a great one-wheel landing.
A bad day for right wheels!...

Johnny J. should have worn yellow shorts to be totally color-coordinated with his Extra...

The skies turned nasty, but it blew over, as usual.

Russell somehow he got his right arm into the spinning prop of his big Cub, suffering several neat and closely-spaced slashes... Russell DID fly his Cub before he finally decided to go to the emergency room. He got several stitches and returned to the field.

More in the next Pits Report.
