Most of you think Im new to the rc world and a new member. In a way I am a new member, but when did my interest in rc happen.?
Who remembers the flying lawn mower and the person who flew it.( I DO ).
Most of you do not remember me but some of you I do.
HOW- well I started going to watch the flying when the site was on Deakle Rd.

Well, you sure do go back.
I was there and remember all those times and helping Art with his Flying Lawnmower and the Real People tv show filming us flying the mower.

Too bad Deakle Road was not paved back then as nice as it is now. Was about some of the worst washboard in wet or dry weather.

We talking back in mid 70s - mid 80s.

Did you do are start learning any flying back then?

:crying: :hammerhead: ;)

Elton was a nice kid to have around, one of the bestest crashed airplane finders I have ever seen.
Still in his dippers, Elton came to field and had a hamburger in his hand with a couple of bites taken out, I said "hey boy, give me a bite of that hamburger", Elton said "no no not geting any of this hamburger", but being an acomidating little kid even at that age, he said "I will go home and get mama to make you one".
I thought that was just too cute.
