Whe weather was realy nice this weekend and we had a large turnout for the combat event. And many spectators also :)

There were nine pilots, Homer Anderson, Robert Sanderson, Tony Farmer, Andrew Smith, Russ Green, Johnny Jones, Johnny Turner, Jeff Lee, and Doug Shoney....

In the frrst round Andrew got a cut on Robert, then turned around and had a midair hit with him, and nocking him out of the sky :plane_crash: Andrew was able to keep flying :toontwo: Then, Johnny Turner and Homer had a midair that took them both out. There planes were in bad shape, and were not able to be fixed..

The 2nd round was hot and heavy with 7 guys going at it, no midairs but lots of cuts were had. As was the 3rd round, a lot of cuts and some EXCITING flying :yickes:

Andrew Smith came out on top with 8 points to take the win.

And a lot of "THANKS" to all the guys that were spotters for the pilots :thumbup:

Starting with April Combat I will be enforcing the starting time.....

At 2:00 I wil sound the 15 minute warning horn.

At 2:13 I well give a blast with my Siren, just to get your attention to let you know that the 2 minute Scramble/Launch Horn is 2 minutes away. "IF You Want To"
You may launch at this time. OR" you can wait for the 2 minute scramble/launch HORN..

I wlii sound the horn 1 time to start combat. The round will be for 6 minutes.

I will sound the horn 1 time to stop combat...

Time between rounds ???? I am still thinking on this one :unsure:

If you are hand launching your plane. Make sure that you are in front of the pilot pads...........
