Title: Forum Weather Gizmo
Description: how working for you?
alvinonline - March 16, 2008 03:46 PM (GMT)
I added a Weather Gizmo to portal page this forum.
Right above the News Flash ticker marque.
Is it working for everyone?
Click on it for a pretty detailed flying field (Irvington) weather conditions/forecast.

I like your weather gizmo, Alvin!
Look at this! I found out that if I use your gizmo and hit the F12 function key, I also get this weather data...

Pretty cool, eh?
Can y'all do the same on your computers? :o

I have the weather monitor 2 by davis instruments
Flying Dutchman - March 17, 2008 09:45 PM (GMT)
Is that the Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 Integrated Sensor Suite that you have?
You can go ahead and junk that now, since Alvin gave you a free weather monitor. His also gives you a forecast, something your gadget doesn't do...
At least Davis Instruments is a good company (their stuff is Windows AND Mac compatible!)

Not sure what you are asking or saying... :o
Your sentence starts with a question, but then ends with a statement... So I really don't know what you mean...
If you look, you can get weather about every point on the globe from the Internet...
But then, maybe I can get that other local weather stuff because I have a Mac computer... :o
:D

[B]Well Davis instruments has gone more advance in weather instruments
they have the wireless weather stations
I think before Davis intruments it used to be digital or some other company before
Davis Instruments bought them out.
THey even have the weather Broadcaster and you get a number to call your home weather station and they have a radio to recive your PC weather reports.
