Well it was good while it lasted,
It look like a RC model of a ultralight.

It was made from a stunt kite, a lawn ornament, aluminum, Corplast and miscellaneous RC stuff...

Robert's planes are NEVER ultralight! :o

His planes are extremely heavy on the PVC, plastic, aluminum and other — heavier — metals like lead... Engines twice the required size are common. Add to that the copious amounts of epoxy glue and tie straps, rubber bands, and you get the idea... :D

The planes are a credit to Robert's one-man model aircraft company, SASkWOT (Sanderson's Advanced Skunk Works of Outrageous Technology), and his unrelenting designing skills...

And it doesn't hurt that he has an extraordinary, skillful, don't-give-a-crap test pilot, who throws all caution to the wind, and who never gets tired of testing Robert's inventive creations...

:yickes: You will be glad to know that the STRIKE jug bowler now has tri-cycle landing gear. A stearable nose wheel under the ball, and two wheels under the wing. :yickes:

What's there to be afraid of?

In my 20 years of flying RC airplanes it made no difference whether the plane was powered by wind-up rubber band, electric motor, gasoline, nitromethane, diesel, or rocket engine.

Makes no difference if the engine is in the front, the tail, or both. Or one on each wing. Or whether there are three or more engines. As long as they do what they are supposed to!...

So whether it's a weed eater, edge trimmer, chain saw, or lawn mower engine, attach it to a suitable plane, and I, or anyone else, CAN fly it. It's simple physics...

It's when the builder pays no attention to location of the center of gravity, tail-heaviness and power-to-weight ratio when things can go terribly wrong during that first flight... :yickes:
