We actually have our own Air Races almost every weekend.
Here are Mike and Rob going at it with their Super Sport and Venus in the Irvington, Alabama, Balls Out! Air Race...

Well what's the fast RC racing plane on the market ?
My instructor told one time a guy got killed in the chain link fence from one of those high speed racing RC models.

We don't fly those. You are talking about races with RC giant scale AT-6 Texans, I believe...
The guy got killed because he was leaning against the chain link fence wall of the cage that the judges are in. There is one below each pylon! It was like a direct hit...
If we do fly pylon, we fly small Quickie 500 airplanes with no bigger than .32-size engines.
They are fast enough! :lol:
