From Frits' screenshot, the teen forum ads are being served on this MARCMAF forum and I don't see how the new DAA forum could possibly have anything to do with it.
They are not popups or spam, they are banner ads on the forum page and not spam as the forum is required to display ads as part of hosting contract.

I have not seen those ads are any ads at all because I use Firefox browser and have ads on all sites blocked.

But, the ads displayed on this forum are the price paid for the "free" forum hosting.
Google ads here are most of time relevant to the page contents as google uses the words on the page to get an idea of the general subject of page and tries to match ad subject to page subject.

Some times their ads to be served on subjects other than model aviation greatly out weigh the model aviation ads they have available and the off subject ads will be loaded.
Model Aviation ads may on ocassion be served on non-model aviation forums.
The teen forum people/owners probably just bought a big block of ad serves from google and google is having to spread them around some all over the place to get them served on a time related contract.

The teen forum related ads seem to be of non-offensive flavor and so nothing to be done about it. Now if the ads are offensive in nature such as porn or illegal activities, would be different, but google will not serve those type ads anyway.

On bottom right of google ads you will find a feedback link, follow the link and find more info about google ads and how they try to match relevance (ad sense) and a link to express your thoughts about any ads you have seen.

Sort of like how this ad inquiry subject got served/placed in Johnny's New Project topic.
Subject not matching subject, just one of those things.

<_< Now we don't go blaming a mod trainee Flying Dutchman.
you just need a spam blocker, because I don't have those pop up my self.
