This might be your chance!!! A new turbine manufacturer is out that is producing turbines at a very good price. There's no review out on them so far but as soon as there is I'll post a link to them. The turbine is a 12 lb thrust unit that is perfect for the ducted fan conversion. They have an 18 lb version that is scheduled for release also. Don't really care if I fly one or not, but would just like to crank it up and listen to run. Probably mount on top of a trainer/sport plane for a quick trip around field.
Wouldn't that be a sight, a real jet trainer. B)
