:bigplane: Combat Sunday. It going to be cold with a :wub: mathematical chance of snow. I hear a lot of people will be "Out of Town". I'll be there with a BIG Fire :fuming: and Hot Chicken soup with Cornbread. :thumbup: Hope some one else shows up.

I really did not think anyone would show up on saturday or today due to the weather. I"ll stop by for a while. I need to go to Wal-mart,Hobby Lobby,USA Hobbytown and see a movie and build my plane.

I have only 2 planes that are flight worthy. I'm working on my 40 size Decathlon. I have too change out both ele. push rods and remount the engine and throttle push rod and build a battery and receiver box or platform to hold both down and balance the plane. Since cold weather has settled down upon us this might be the best time to build my planes. I usually fly during the week when I can.

Russell, I may have to start coming out during the week too. Because of my schedule, I'm home every other week from Wednesday through Tuesday morning. I don't really consider it safe to fly alone :ouch: , but if you're there I may start coming out to practice some pattern flying. However, I wouldn't be out on a cold day like today even if I was at home. :no:

Tony Farmer, Robert Sanderson, Frits Jetten, Mike McLaughlin, Johnny Turner, Justin Peacock, and Jake Wiggins.......

Justin and Jake came to just fly Jake's new Pizza Plane. (BUT NOT IN COMBAT)
Well somewhere along the line it got turned into a combat plane :o And it flew realy great! But on a downwind hi speed pass, the virtical stab came off, and well, that was the end of the Pizza Plane :( I think Jake said he will make another one.
(Add a little beef topping to that stab Jake)

Frits had wing trouble with his plane :o It came off in flight, and as it fluttered down to the ground the rest of the plane kept going for about 50 yards as a lawn dart. And this was going downwind also. (It was realy Windy) and that put him out of the game with his plane, but he was giving Robert a hand with his plane,servo trouble I think he said.

Tony and Johnny midaired in the 2nd round, but not to much damage to there
planes. I think Johnny has lost about four planes in combat, but this one survived.

Mike didn't make it into the last round, he had some sort of trouble with his plane, I forgot to ask him what was wrong.

Just had a thought about the COLD weather.. where WAS the ICEMAN?? I KNOW a little wind didn't bother him the previous week.. Could it be .. no ICE in his veins? lol. :hysterical:

Oh, the ICEMAN had to work, but I will be there this weekend. I was trained by Frits, so yes I do have ICE water in my viens :ouch:
