Ok....Here it is, I've been telling everyone I would post this info on the forum for a while now. I have been purchasing my LED's from: www.superbrightleds.com
Click here for all the individual listings:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/leds.htm

I personally have used the following LED's with good results:
White RL5-W6030
Aqua RL5-A7030 (looks almost exactly like green)
Green RL5-G7532
Red RL5-R8030
Yellow RL5-Y5030
White 360 deg. RL8-W110-360

These are the LED's that I am using on Don and my Slowsticks as well as my Aircore.

And finally for all of you wanting to know what resistors to use and why here is a handy page with a calculator!!! :D

Let me know if you guys have any other Questions....

Thanks Andrew, great information.

Question - Do yawl hook up multiple LED strand parallel or in series?

I'll come up with some...
On ANY subject, right, Osirus711?

Can I hook them up in a series/parallel fashion?
Do lights follow Ohm's law? :o

Both actually-- Depends on the voltage and the LED used. Most of mine are however connected in parallel.

yup--Well a variation anyway.
Supply Voltage - LED Voltage / LED Current
Just remember that they are current driven not voltage!! Any voltage above the forward voltage will work, it is the amperage that you need to calculate for.

example-
4.8v supply
3.2v Forward voltage
20 mA current
4.8v - 3.2v / .02A = 80ohm resistor
