You have a bit of a grammar problem yourself, turning every other word into a typo, or some sort of gibberish... <_<

Do you realize that?

I'm still too hungover to even start with this today. Reading it is not helping the headache subside, that's for sure.

I know if my light was out does that mean you were in the complete dark trying to type with your toes? It would be a good comparison.......

Avistar 2 - January 2, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
FYI... Yes even I make mistakes in typing in the dark
But you buy a gps device for your planes?

Have you tried turning a light on? :o

Flying Dutchman - January 2, 2008 10:08 PM (GMT)
You'd better stay away from that GPS gadget, Avistar2. It's only compatible with Windows 95/98/2000/XP.
And no Vista version in sight! Which sounds funny to me, because "vista" means "sight" in Spanish! Ain't language cool?

That gadget costs 120 Euros, which is, ummmm, let's see — with the going exchange rate of — let me get that from the stock exchange real quick — here it is, Last Trade: 0.6793...

So that's $176 for a device that will crash along WITH my plane, rendering it useless too?... :yickes:

Nah! I don't think so! <_<

Avistar 2 - January 2, 2008 11:29 PM (GMT)
Well don't be surprised the start making little black boxes for RC planes and helis

most of everything is using gps tech these days
some one told me that Alvin flight feild is dump
Alvin you have anything to say about that?

4star40 - January 3, 2008 02:15 AM (GMT)
I beg to differ.... Our feild is top notch. It is extremely nice, better than any form of park I have been to. Me and dad go there sometimes just to take it easy because It is so nice (especially with jeff and alvin taking care of the grass) and its always well kept and clean and good folks. Yes it happens to be built on a old landfill. Yet it is a privalege to be a part of a club with such a nice facility, and people.....

Avistar 2 - January 3, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
must be a awful lot of work to get that way
it very hard these days to get a large enough space to fly nitros
it's even harder to get city officals to let you have space to fly in when the want to put a chew and choke in that spot.

i'm confused Avistar... What is a Chew and choke? Here in the South, i would assume Chewing Tobacco, and Smokes... of some kind?

Avistar 2 - January 3, 2008 03:27 AM (GMT)
cb term for restuarnt
the ama says they give out grants for a flight fields
but you need a the town or city's ok to make a flight field

4star40 - January 3, 2008 04:20 AM (GMT)
Well of course I mean you Frits, and the other wonderful people out there, to many to list. It is overall a great place to hang out, and of course fly.
