I arrived at the field around 12 o'clock and was on the phone when Jon showed up and left shaking his head as if he was gone for good, but he showed back up later with food!
Said the wind made him hungry or something like that! :D
Shortly after that Russ showed up. Can't remember his last name but he had a cool foam wing with a 25 on it getting it ready for combat.
Roger showed up not long after that and I can't remember the other guy who showed up, but he had a plane like the one russell crashed. I think fritz showed up somewhere around that time too. I think he took a few pix and left, or am I thinking of another day! :hmm:
While Roger was flying we (me and Russ) tried out the wing. I launched it! :hyper:
It did good and it seemed to handle the wind good but while trying to trim it it got down the runway a bit and Russ wasn't sure if it was going to hit Roger (this is his story and he's stikin to it) and kinda scared the plane into a loop in the crosswind and it hit right at the edge of the runway flat and sent the engine and tank a flyin across the runway!
The damage was a bent and cracked crankcase,broken motor mount and Roger changing his underware! :toiletpaper: (I saw him jump 10 feet in the air!)
I squeezed a few flights in and the unknown guy got a good run in of the engine with help from other members and Elton showed up with nothing but a bill from Hobby Town!
The unknown guy made a fire to warm up to! I wish I could remember his name! :banghead:
Next time I'll write down names! :hmm:
