Today Robert talked me into going to the field. He had something to fly, he said.
So I went. Sure enough. He had the purple Double Trouble and what looked like a bunch of parts to make three more airplanes.
What I saw were the 12-ft. wing to the :yickes: Triple Beast :yickes: and the fuselage to the BUHOR (Big Ugly H e l l On Rails). Plus the 4-ft. wing extensions to the HOR.
The first flight of the HOR without extensions was brief. Not enough up... <_<
Robert put the extensions on the HOR this time and we tried again. Perfect launch by Robert.
But I was unable to level the HOR. It only wanted to go left. And it did, slamming into the PVC pipe near the windsock. No damage to the pipe, almost none to the plane.

So Robert replaced the wing with the narrower 12 ft. long :yickes: Triple Beast :yickes: wing. Another perfect launch by Robert.

The plane flew okay, but was difficult to steer. I landed it okay.
Then Robert cranked up the Double Trouble.

There was one brief first flight (it only wanted to go left... <_< ) But on the second flight it flew fine. And then Robert flew and landed it just fine.

But later, while I was trying to get my heli in the air, I happened to see the Double Trouble over Half Mile Road, heading East. I heard Robert yell: "I'm in trouble!" or something like that.
The plane continued on, full power, slightly downward, and headed for the property west of the field. There was a loud slam... :yickes:
Robert and David Doss went after it and found it. Luckily it didn't hit anything but a big oak tree. The tree survived. The plane did not...

Robert is planning on modifying the HOR some more...
Let's see — he hasn't done a canard yet... :o
