R/C Combat 11-18-07

It was another "GREAT ONE" I know, I say that every month.

But these guys are going at it Big Time!!!! The total point count for three rounds over all, was 40.Thay were cutting streamers all over the place.

We had 6 pilots.Tony Farner, Andrew Smith, Justin Peacock, Mark Crumpler, Robert Sanderson, and Mike McLaughlin.

After some adjusting and tweeking befor combat, Robert got his plane flying fine.
Mark had some trouble with his plane, he lost the needle valve from his carb on a test flight but Andrew came to the rescue and loaned him one :thumbup: Tony lost the back half of his muffler about 3 min into the second round but he was able to keep his plane flying to finish the round and get that point :dance: Robert came to the rescue on this one with the muffler part, and with the help of some wire and a good ground crew, Tim McLeod, Justin, Andrew, and I forget who else was in there :embarrassed: ( I have CRS real bad) thay got his engine fixed.

In the last round, all but Justin had lost there streamers. So now the fight was on :boxers: Justin was all over the place trying to keep 5 planes off his tail It was some great flying, Justin was LOW!! just about scrapping the ground :yickes:
and with Andrew on his tail hot and heavy he pulled up :o but Andrew was so close that he cut Justins streamer :thumbup: That was one great move :banana: and it doesn't get much better then that.... But Justin still came out on top, because he had racked up 13 points by this time.Tony Farmer had 9, and Andrew had 7........And thanks to all the spotters for your help :)
