Title: HELI TRAINING
Description: BELIEVE IT OR NOT IT DID HAPPEN

Russell flying Tigers - November 18, 2007 02:32 AM (GMT)
Well today I went to the airfield to brake in a new engine and much to my surprise steve asked me , if I wanted to fly his Blade CP Pro. So I said yes and I flew his heli on the buddy box. I flew for a couple of minutes. I admit I have practiced on the simulator off and on. I also know it will be a lot more practice on my simulator and lots of training at the field. Sooner or later I'll have to buy myself a heli. But I will have to admit I like the Topflite giant scale P-51 so I'm not to sure what my next project will be. But maybe by next spring 2009 I'll have all 12 prior projects completed.

Russell, Did you mean next spring or spring after next, anyways it will never happen.

You ought to give up on all them planks, sell them cheap and buy a good chopper now.

I recommend the Kyosho Caliber 90 06. Finest chopper kit made and darn well worth it. Just basic kit is about $2,500.00 street price. :o

And Russell, you need to tell the rest of the chopper trainer flite story.
You had it on the buddy cord for two minutes and then it took Steve two seconds to trash it due to forgetting to take finger off the trainer switch when he took back control. :yickes:

Alvin, that looks neat. Make you a deal . When I win the Florida lottery I'll buy one. Then you, steve and fritzs can fly it and teach me how to fly it.

Be careful Russell! Once you get hooked on helos there are not any 12 step programs to cure the addiction! :D I might also add that helos are like Lays potato chips, you can't stop with just one!!!!!
