I was just at the flying field and the entrance is blocked by work crews heavy trucks. You cannot get into the field and they cannot move the trucks untill there job is done in that area. I talked to the person in charge and for the rest of the evening today (Friday) the entrance to the field will be blocked by there big trucks and will not be moved untill they get the wire up accross the road. I mentioned that the club normally fly on Saturdays and Sundays. He asked about what time on Saturdays people will be coming to the field and I said between 11:00 -12:00. He said that the trucks will remain Friday evening and Friday night and he thinks they will get done sometime Saturday morning.
yea, it was a great day for flying, but the power company guys messed us up  maybe they will be gone early tomorrow. i hope to have my F-20 tiger shark ready to test fly tomorrow :spin: this plane ought to be pretty fast
Yep...As of about 5:30 friday afternoon, the entrance was still blocked, but they were still working hard and heavy. :penguin: :penguin: :penguin:
There are some might big/tall target poles and wires across the north end of field.
:plane_crash:
During the week a lot of the work crews would stop to see the airplanes fly. And the foreman mentioned that some of his work crews really like watching the planes. They all seemed to think flying airplanes was preety cool. Yes they were working very hard every time I was at the field. I'm sure that they are going as fast as they can to finish. Most of them are out of state and probably want to go home to see there families.
