Title: Were did Russell go? Cub Pics
Description: The CUB fly"s Sunday the 14th

Russell flying Tigers - October 14, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
Was I kidnapped? Not likely, Jade is probable right, they could not handle me-I simply talk too much. Did I go to China? I could have? Or did I go to PA to see the narrow guage trains and see my mother, sister and her 15 year old son? But where ever I actually went, the most important news is the CUB fly"s SUNDAY the 14th.

Ok Russell, I guess that we will take one of those reasons that you gave as an acceptable excuse for your absense. <_< ;)

Get that Cub flying and good luck, hoping for a sucessful day.

Russell's welcome back party.

Robert Sanderson brought food and I made my secret recipe hushpuppies.
We had Jambalia, Field Peas & Smoked Pork, French Fries, Fried Fish, and Hushpuppies.
Was mighty tastie.

Everyone says Russell is missing but I haven't seen Jade around in awhile??? :o

jday - October 14, 2007 06:05 PM (GMT)
Russel, you should post some pictures of the train you are involved with. Maybe some folks would like to see your big small models... :o
Better yet, film the whole trip next time and post that. :roflmao:

Russell did show today and had his Cub with him.
Russell and the North Pit Scale crew did some final checks, tuneups, and magic scret stuff on the Cub and it was ready for test pilot Justin to take it up.
The Cub flew like a Cub, nothing fell off, and Justin brought it in for a landing.

Now with the Cub behind him, Russell can move on to his many and ever growing other model airplane projects. Russell anticipates that his Model Aviation Museum will be ready to open some time in 2008.
;) :P

Russell was hiding behind the shed chain smoking three cigs while cub was flying.
He could not stand to look.  ;)

I told him that it was "Just A Cub", but Cubs are Russell's fav planes I think, besides the two or three P-40 Warhawks that will prob be next on the list to fly. :D

And one of those has already been crashed ("Fritzed" as some call it  ) by me, on its very first flight. :yickes:

But now I'm ready to fly that second one too...

Ready for duty again, Mr. Ward...  :hyper:

But you try so hard Frits, you get to test fly so many odd aircraft sometimes of unique bleeding edge design, some of the landings just have to be interesting.

Sort of like the Chuck Yeager of model aircraft. :D
