You Can Not :no: Fly that 70 lb Watermelon in combat. :thumbdown:
Rule 1102 states clearly, that Combat Watermelons can have a max weight of 50 lbs.

Now that the secret is out, I think that the "Mad Crew" plans on eating enough heart out of the mellon to bring it down to legal weight and make room for a bomb bay.

Do you know how hard it is to get the CG right on that thing? :banghead: We even
had to figure on the area to where to put the Vodka in without off setting the balanc
again.You have to be good when you can do that.I just had a hard time keeping
russell and robert out of the bottle first.I bet they are still passed out. :hysterical:

Another good Combat :thumbup: The guys are doing a great job :thumbup: :thumbup:
Johnny Turner lost his plane in a mid air last month :o BUT he was back sunday with another :) Johney LOVES Combat. I think he has lost at least 3 planes, or 4?
so far.
Combat pilots Sunday were, T.J., Mike Callan, Fits Jetten ( Frits was flying Tony Farmers plane) Johnny Turner, Robert Sanderson, and Steve Drake...............
Robert had a wing problem and was unable to fly. Mike Callen had Radio trouble and was unable to fly also.............
The first round wen't to Johnny with 3 points, and Jrits 1, Steve lost power, and his plane went in hard.......
Round 2- Johnny again got 3 points, T.J. got 2, and Frits got 2 also.....
Round 3- Frits got 3 points Johnny got 2 points, and T.J. got 1 point......
In the last 35 seconds of the 3rd round, Frits and Johnny had a midair :o Johnnys plane came down hard. BUT Frits was able to keep his plane in the air long enough to get the piont for completing the round and surviving the midair :thumbup:
