Russell was at field Monday afternoon and wanted to learn how to takeoff in a more straight line.
I got him to leave wing off and do all sorts of taxi practice.





Russell was doing real good except for a few times that he could not quite make the turn and ran off the runway.
Russell remarked that he thought the new asphalt runway must not be as wide as the old one. I told him that if anything, it was a couple of feet wider than the old one, but the new asphalt rolls faster and he had to keep on his toes not to get going too fast.
