Tell us more.. what happened? Is the runway fixed? How did they do it?

From what I understand.

East half of runway to be ground down on Friday (today).

Next week, east half brought up to proper elevation with clay, crushed stone and asphalt.
Then entire runway dressed with finish layer of asphalt.

Then ground area east of finished runway to be brought to proper elevation with clay and topsoil.

They will not to be working this weekend and hope to get job finished by middle of next week.
NO flying while workers are working or they might put it back like it was.
