I will try to test fly one of alvins combat avanger thursday around noon I will also bring a chopper to do some flying if anyone would like to come. IF the weather is nice that is. JTurner

I have found with flying wings when you think you have it in balance add more noise weight... :hmm:

It didn't go so bad!! :angry:
Once I fix it up (with a solid beam engine mount instead of ply, which I'll have to order), I'll add the heavy hub on the front instead of the spinner.
Oh wait, I just forgot, my engine doesn't run. No rush on those repairs. :lol:

Johnny flew the Avenger, and it was PERFECT! :thumbup:
He launched it himself, and .25 flew it right out of his hand. He only had to click the aileron trim 2 clicks. And that was IT! :thumbup:
After some prodding, Johnny DID admit to me that he had to redesign a few things on the Avenge, designed by our own Alvin Reed (that's what Alvin claims...) ;)
Other than that, Johnny thought it was a pretty good design! :hysterical:
Johnny told me that he's ready for combat now! :banana:
And he added: "I don't know what Michael's problem was with his Avenger..." :huh:
