Today I got my first issue of model aviation.
and there looks like a lot of cool stuff like AMA threads>(clothes) clocks and other
good stuff I might order a jacket for the winter and some AMA shirts.

I'd happily take a 25 cent per year AMA discount if they'd stop sending me that thing.

Mike is one of the better or rather one of the top fliers at the field, the most safe at that too.

Well I think the AMA is cool I like the jackets and the other cool stuff.
I don't know why Mike said if they stoped sending him the AMA magazines.

We are all AMA members.
It is required of Azalea City Model Aeronautics members to belong to AMA also.

Mike is AMA member.
He just does not care much for the AMA magazine probably because of all the non RC content as lots of others don't like it either.
Some wish that they had option of not getting the magazine in exchange for a reduction in the AMA yearly dues.

I would take the discount any day! Im not a fan of that Mag. myself, to many people living in the past...

I agree with Mike, it's not as good as the FLY RC magazine! It only takes me about 5 minutes to read the RC stuff and then it's in the trash can.

Mike should e-mail AMA and ask them to put more RC stuff and more RC articles
in the the model aviation magazines.

There's nothing wrong with the AMA just because mike cries about the thier

and other thing Thanks to gas price hike my flight lessons is once a mounth now.

Hey I'm for pure enthol gas I hope soon the get the refinerary going soon
because NO emmisions and lower gas prices.

Alvin brought up the Gas prices again.
any way what's wrong with the AMA there's nothing wrong with it.
Alvin is going to tell ol boy to send them an e-mail to put more rc stuff and articles in the model aviation magazines.
OL mike can't just cry about it, there no videos on free flight planes or line control planes just RC planes, besides Alvin agrees with me , and slappy you go e mail them too.

Boy, is this great timeing or what?
Back around the first of year, I submitted some RC articles to the AMA magazine.
Did not hear anything back so I figured it was a no go.
Today I received this advance copy of July issue cover page for my review.

Man,I dont want yall ever to tell me that I talk to much again.Lets sum all of this up
in a nut shell.Mike never said anything bad about AmA.(it was the MAGAZINE).
Alvin cant do anything about GAS prices.the people who want only elec cars
and all solar bull needs to only use one quarter inch of :toiletpaper: when they
wipe their butt.Let me just add one here(GLOBAL WARMING my big ol butt)-Its
still COLD IN Alaska.Also here a few weeks ago we were all by a nice cozy fire at the
field WHY?It was alittle COOL out.I am gonna keep my nitro burning planes,drive
my oily, gas burning,smoking old truck just like its been done for the last 100s of
years.(Hey maybe we should all go buy us one of these litttle elec rice grinders and
try to pull our trailers with them,even try to haul som katrina debris-you see where
I am going with this.)
Avistar,We all at the club are different in our own ways but,one things for sure-
We believe in AMA,(I personally like some of the stuff in them,but,lets face it
its not all for us.I thank them for sending them out but,they could change a few things
and they are not gonna listen to any of us.they are like the government-they do what
they want.).
And,Mike is a super guy and he is a outstanding pilot,even if he didnt have AMA,I would
still ask him to put me on a box.
As for the magazines-I contribute to the recycling situation-I walk out back after
I get done reading(which isnt long)to a Burn barrell(Us poor folks fireplace and oven).

Hey,Alvin-I am gonna call the local news in Maricopa,Az and see if they will put you
on the show with your magazine cover.Also make sure you get your AMA jacket
it maybe cold.And take avistar one of our shirts.Before you leave to go over
there, come by and I will give you about 10-20 old copies to take with you for him.
If you go make sure you get a car that runs on chicken oil so you can pull over by
a kenyucky fried chicken and fill up your tank.hahahaha.Oh and by the way,we will

I know that we already have a news letter but with alvin's computer, picture, and editing skills, and Fritz's ability to use his literary content like he dose in the pits report, in a mgazine like that, the club could make a magazine that would really sell with full reviews and get people to put ads in it and have the money support the club....Just a thought.

That wasn't the point at all I think what Mike and Slappy ment is that they dont like the magazine...Okay, Ipersonaly dont either..think it is a bit out dated, Control line and gliders were big in the '70s but that was 30 years+ ago....But if they could decide they would rather not have it, not that they have a problem with the AMA. No body put down the AMA in anyway they just dislike there magazine.

Yeah Justin I deffinatly agree with you here.I tried to throw some humor in and derail it
