Title: An introduction

lrogers - April 16, 2007 12:55 PM (GMT)
Greetings local helo pilots. I'm Larry Rogers and a new member of ACMA and B.O.S.S. (Dragon Balls).

I'm a pilot still in training. I'm pretty good with the hover and I'm working on getting up to speed with forward flight. My main interest is scale, but do hope to porgress to mild aerobatics (rolls, loops, stall turns) and maybe even inverted hovers.

My current fleet includes and Evo 50 (being turned into a Hughes 500D), a Hawk Pro and a Freya. All my helos are named for dragons, hence the name Dragon Balls.

I look forward to meeting all of you at the field! :D

Hi Larry,
Welcome and it is great to add another chopper flyer to ACMA.
Looking forward to seeing your MD 500 scale machine finished and in the air. :newstuff:

If you get bored with the choppers, you can give RC Combat a go for some exciteing moments. :yickes:

I think I'll just remain an "interested spectator" as far as combat is concerned! Carbon fiber rotor blades are too expensive to use as streamer-cutters! :roflmao:

My hat's off to you guys who fly into the fur-ball.
