I spent all day in Fairhope with the kinfolks.

We ate, watched some TV, played ball in the yard with kids, ate some more, flew the little electric RC chopper that I got for them all around in the house. Sure enough my nephew flew the chopper into my sister's hair and it got tangled. We got it out without too much damage. I borrowed my bro-in-laws workshop to fix it and soon had it flying again.

Alvin wasn't at the field, so there won't be a mini Pits Report... <_<

The day started out a bit iffy, but then it continually improved until we had a nice blue day with little wind! We had a fire going. Where were y'all? :huh:

I finally saw Johnny's RCL (Radio Control Line?) system in action. Very nice!
But, Johhny, if you eliminate that cable, you can let your plane fly free with the RC part only! Yep, people have been doing that for years! :yes:

I gave Russell and Jade several flights on the buddy box. They both did very well.
Another new person came by and will start soon...
So where were the other instructors? :o
