Alvin's Mini ACMA Field Report.

Saturday, March 17, 2007, Irvington Field, Nice day for mid March. Temps in mid 60s, light winds, and plenty sunshine. Still, a light turn out, more club members into that Green Beer on St. Patrick's Day than I had figured. I called Tony to see where he was and he was not making much sense on the phone, something about Rene had dosed him down with too much green antifreeze so that his pipes would be thawed out for tonight or something like that.
Justin, Andy, and Jeff were into some construction project as I arrived, lots of drilling and hammering. James S. kept me entertained with some tales about running into some "Hot Tamalies" in his younger days. No froze pipes here, Tony needs to talk with James.

No one willing to cook today and nothing much to cook anyway, so here we have Mr. Anderson, Andy, and Jeff chowing down on some fast food carry outs.

Nothing to eat, so Alvin got in a couple of flights on his Sonic 25 and was carefull to follow most all proper flight procedures. Uneventfull flights of Alvin's standard high percentage (90% or better chance of not crashing) maneuvers.

Robert Sanderson and one of his nieces pose with his Corsair WW II fighter plane, one of Robert's more conventional aircraft. I heard that one of his experimentals was polished off earlier in week by he and Frits.
