Hangman is a paper and pencil guessing game for two or more players. Alvin thinks of a word/phrase and the other/s tries to guess it by suggesting letters.

The word/phrase to guess is represented by a row of dashes, giving the number of letters. If the guessing player suggests a letter which occurs in the word/phrase, Alvin writes it in all its correct positions. If the suggested letter does not occur in the word/phrase, Alvin draws one element of the hangman diagram. Prize - Winner gets ten points added to their forum post count total. The game is over when:

* The guessing player completes the word/phrase, or guesses the whole word/phrase correctly.
* Or Alvin completes the diagram:

Only one letter guess at a time please.
If someone guesses a letter, yawl must wait till Alvin replies before another letter guess will be allowed. That guessed letter if correct will be added to word/phrase or if wrong guess, another part of hanging man will be added and wrong guessed letter will be added to "Letters Missed:" line.
Any extra guesses will be deleted to preserve game continunity.

Just so you guys all know. This game is rigged.


My guess of "AIRCORP" was correct on the first game, but Alvin changed it to "AIRPORT" to knock me out of the win.

I am a pro at this game, as I was an alternate on the Olympic Hangman game team back in '94.

It just goes to show, its not WHAT you know, but WHO you know on this forum.
