Hello to all. Sorry I have missed the last few combats I have been moving and it is not a small job after being in one place for 23 years :banghead: I should be ready for 3-18 combat. See you all then. Johnny

well my plane is ready and flying good, the problem is I said I wouldn't fly it again untill combat to be sure i Didn't mess it up before the event. After re-thinking, I am still far from being real comfortable flying it, as it flys 100% differnet from anything else I have ever flown. So I changed my mind and want a few more practice flights on it before combat, so I will fly it a few flights this week end so I am comfortable with it before going into battle. I'll just keep my hands steady as I can and try to make sure it is still in one piece come the 18th.
Steve

the last Pits report (conveniently I assume) forgot to mention the deadstick spot landing contest between instructors using the students planes. I defeatedd Frits by about a football field and he payed the wager of 1 beer, after the flying was over of course, he was supposed to mention it in the report but it must have slipped his mind.

Frits' mind, yep a slippery slope in there somewhere.
But you can find mention of the new landing contest event in this post linked to below.

Oh, stop whining, Steve... <_<
I've said it before.
It takes a great mind to write the Pits Report, because you have to recall later on Sunday evening — or (more likely) one, two or more days later — who flew what aircraft (and you'd better get the aircraft's name right), on what day, and what specifically happened, or who crashed what... And don't forget anybody who flew because they may think you're playing favorites... :yickes:
Try it sometimes... :D
I will correct my gross ommission, whiny Steve, and make a reference to your wonderful feat (yawn...) in the next Pits Report. That is if I don't forget.
After all, this brain is almost 65 years old and it tends to forget things at times...
