KADET KID - February 16, 2007 03:07 AM (GMT)
I'm going to buy a .46 two stroke engine soon. What is the best engine on the market today? CRITERIA: Perfomance, Reliability, and Durability.

Personally, I like the O.S. brand of engines. I've had two O.S. .46FX and don't have any complaints.

Like TJR said, I like the OS engines as well.
Never had any of their cheaper line like the LA engine, but the regular OS engines with the front main shaft ball bearing is great for sure.

I have super decathalon by phoniex , It doesn't need to be a speed demon, but I do want some performance, with reliability.

Thanks for all of the advice. I bought a .46 OS AX today for my super decathalon.
This engine took the place of the FX. I really like the needle valve location,
FAR AWAY from the prop
