Title: New batteries for dinky CP-PRO
Description: Battery test

Hey everyone!
Saw an article on the CP-Pro that mentioned the tail swinging badly when you add
collective hard, was due to a loss of power to the tail motor.
It stated that they installed a 1300 mah battery pack to resolve this problem.

I purchased 2 1250mah battery packs and installed one to try it out
after reversing all the wires for the charger and installing the new plug and charging it fully.
Great success it fixed the problem but created another (more weight= need more power) so I took away the little throttle mixing for full power(max head speed)
and it seemed to do OK.

Although the CP-Pro isn't the greatest flying heli it is one great learning tool
(flying mechanics, and electric systems)
I have to say I really came to like the E-Flite throttle controller( built into some of the older models radios) due to it's safety system that wont allow you to give throttle until it has done a safety check at idle on the stick.
It will also give you flashing error codes to let you know that your transmitter is off
or your transmitter is at idle or not.

Hope this is helpful for you blade owners and people thinking of getting one!

 See yall at the field!
