New tip, when you try and transfer from a strap on wing to a bolt on wing on a avistar
I doesnt work to good.It probably would have if before I glued the wings
together and put 1 servo in each wing.then I would have not had to worry about
clearancefor the push rods on the servo hitting on the wing mount.this isnt the
the only probablem,I had already cut down the fuse first to adjust for now predrilled
wing dowels mounted and glued in the front to go in the fuse.So the solution-put everything back together like it was the best I could and I did make it a tail dragger.
so far that worked barely.I should have just left the D@#%n thing alone and
flew it But,Nooooo I just had to do something different.I will have to mount the
engine next (the right way-I dont want it try and take off lik e a heli)and then the
radio.then all systems go.Needless to say I cursed a Whloe lots on christmas and :banghead: :yickes:

Kit bashing sounds like fun, huh Kenny.

I read your post several times and think I got it right.

You decided to make the rubber banded on wing into a bolt on type.
Then the new bolt on wing stuff got in way of inside mounted aileron servo pushrods.
And something about the location of new wing location dowels were misplaced requiring cutting out some of the wing saddle on fusalage so wing would fit.

And you left off the nose gear and added wheel to back end.

Might as well make the kit modification perfect and mount the engine inverted with a pitts style muffler pointing straight up. ;) :P

We might have to ask Kenny to set up in the North Pit Area. :roflmao:

Not to worry Kenny, I think that it might still fly just fine.
