Title: JIS Screwdrivers
Description: are the cat's meow.

Have you ever noticed that your philips screwdrivers never seem to fit most of those philips looking screws on your helicopter?
Most/all of the helicopter kits made on the other side of Pacific use lots of philips looking screws and they are made so that Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) screwdrivers fit them properly.
Got my first set of JIS couple of weeks ago and used them for first time this past Sunday on Tony's Raptor Titan.
They really worked much better than the regular old philips head screwdrivers that I have used for many years.
They really get a bite in the screw heads and don't take much pressure to keep engaged while turning screw.
Highly recomended if you have noticed a problem with your helicopter screwdrivering.

Alvin,
Where did you get those screwdrivers?

He talked Tony out of them, Don, for singlehandedly building Tony's Raptor Titan... ;)
By the way — where have you been?
Many people have been inquiring about your whereabouts...

No I did not, I don't work that cheap. <_<
I paid twenty good dollars for them from heliproz.com like Jon provided the link to.
What Tony did to me at the Christmas party at field was my payment I reckon. I think that I oue Tony some change back. :yickes:

Well the weekend of the Heli fly in I had to stay home and make sure the guys that cut down the BIG TREE in my yard and grind the stump, did it right.
This past weekend I thought it was a little to cool
I think you thought Dave was kidding a couple of weeks back when we he said, Well, it looks like we won't be seeing much of Don until the weather gets back up to around 70 :o I will be there this weekend  But I hope it warms up :)

Might be last of great weather for flying in this year so everybody try to come on out and fly. Be plenty of bad weather weekends soon for all the rebuilding. :o

Alvin, make sure you bring those screwdrivers to the field this weekend.
I'll have something you can try them out on. :D I could also use your
assistance in getting my hawk fan to turn loose of my OS32 heli engine :(

Sure James, No problem.
Big enough hammer and we can get that fan off for sure.
